Meeting of the Lumes delegation with the
Chancellor of the University of Alexandria and Damanhur. Activities of
academic co-operation defined.
On January 8, 2005 a very important meeting has been held in Alexandria between the Chancellor of the Alexandria University, Prof. M.A. Abdellah, the Chancellors of the Faculties of Agriculture, Economics and Art and the Lumes' delegation, consisting of its Chancellor, Mr. Antonio Martinelli, Mrs. Hoda Aboremila, responsible for the Department of the International Co-operation and the Mayor of Ladispoli, Mr. Gino Ciogli and his wife. During the meeting it has been corroborated, by both the parties, the will to pursue common aims of development of study plans and collaborations, increasing an ever-growing and already active and fully satisfying relationship of academic exchange. The request of a seminar to be held in the Damanhur branch is formalized, as to the subject of the commercial relationships between Europe and Egypt within the Meda agreement.
